Position Summary: The Director of Revenue Management position is a new role at RedAwning focusing on maximizing bookings, revenue, and profits for our growing property collection. This will include working with multiple US based and offshore teams to help identify and drive opportunities, needed adjustments, promotions, and new approaches within RedAwning and our partner network to maximize bookings while achieving our margin goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain a cohesive and analytical Revenue Management culture, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit that optimizes the revenue potential of our solutions
  • Identify and improve upon positive and negative property performance trends
  • Set rate and min stay strategies by region for our properties based on region comp set investigations, supply, and demand
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost lower performing properties before they churn
  • Lead analytical efforts as applied to bookings, revenues, and margins across all channels
  • Support yield optimization efforts via analysis and reporting that ensure that all segments and distribution channels are mined for revenue opportunities
  • Partner with the sales teams, providing analysis, training, and data for new sales and client retention as needed
  • Identify and communicate demand periods (high and low) for which an action plan is needed; build the plan in conjunction with other teams as applicable
  • Ensure that the necessary reports are maintained and systematically analyzed, including channel performance reports
  • Produce and analyze all reports for strategy/yield meetings
  • Provide insight and recommendations in terms of pricing, policies, min stay, availability, market demand, property performance and promotional opportunities for Quarterly Business Reviews with key accounts
  • Build working relationships with the Account Managers of the 3rd party partners (VRBO, Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, etc)

Account Manager

Position Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for the happiness and success of the property managers who sign up to list their vacation rental listings with RedAwning. As an Account Manager at RedAwning, you will work with our onboarding team to get clients up and running, set the clients up for success once their listings are live, monitor performance continually, take action when performance isn’t stellar, and help handle any issues that arise with the clients. Ultimately, you’re responsible for the growth, retention, revenue, and satisfaction of our property manager clients. The overall health of each account is your primary responsibility and you’ll be the primary relationship owner of each client, and you’ll drive the relationship through a consultative and strategic approach to the partnership. 

The Account Manager reports to the Director of Host Success and the ideal fit is someone who is a problem solver, critical thinker, has excellent presentation and communication skills, and is looking for their next opportunity at an innovative, high-growth tech company. The ideal candidate is also someone who performs well under stress and can organize their day well despite many things going on at once.

Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Perform Go-Live calls in a timely manner and work closely with the onboarding team to successfully onboard new properties and address existing account issues.
  • Drive meaningful revenue growth and opportunities across the company’s existing customer base of property owners as we continue to scale.
  • Develop client-facing marketing to highlight the tech, commerce, and reporting capabilities that RedAwning offers so that clients can leverage their own specific strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation mediums for client feedback to identify areas of opportunity including current tech and business improvements as well as future tech and business developments
  • As a key client partner, the account manager will develop deep, strategic relationships with our top property manager accounts, and provide stellar customer service to all other smaller clients.
  • Resolve any/all client issues using FreshDesk and continually monitor for new tickets. Some tickets will be handled for you. But you will have tickets escalated to you as well. 
  • Discover and take action on non-performing accounts
  • Minimize client churn, and work to discover and resolve issues before they turn into churn.
  • Review listings as they go live to ensure they shine and will get bookings.
  • Work with a variety of teams to develop client-facing marketing materials, collateral, FAQs, and more to bring our property manager program to a more self-service style program.

Position Summary: This position will report to the Director, Inside Sales and work closely with the account management and marketing teams.  The successful candidate will become a key member of our Property Owner Sales Program and have a strong understanding of business-to-customer sales with strong communication skills. The candidate will enjoy selling our services to Property Owners on a market-by-market basis.  The ideal candidate should be comfortable speaking to Property Owners at a high level and have a strong understanding of the hospitality and vacation rental market to understand property owner’s needs and how they benefit from the owner program.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to the following:

  • Sign new accounts on RedAwning products and services
  • Regularly monitor account status and work with partners to improve content, optimize listings and address issues in a timely manner
  • Work closely with all internal stakeholders to ensure account listings are accurate and address any account issues as they arise
  • Develop strong relationships with Property Owners to sign up and optimize accounts for success on the channels

Position Summary: RedAwning is seeking a content coordinator to work with both hosts and property managers to ensure best practices in listing content, including copy, pricing, visual elements, as well as guest acquisition copy and title strategies. The Content Manager will demonstrate superior copywriting skills, ideally in the travel, vacation rental, or hospitality space. They will also be responsible for competitive analysis for individual listings as well as the larger market, including but not limited to channel specific testing and keyword research. The Content Manager will be a self-starter who will develop a knowledge base to advise the larger marketing team of potential tests which will have incremental value.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field and/or two years’ experience in copywriting or content creation preferred
